When I was a child, my grandmother always told me: "There is nothing you can't be, there is nothing you can't do, there is nothing you can't have. But never forget that what you will be, who you will be, and how you will be, is for you to decide because you are unique." When I was a child, my grandmother always told me: "There is nothing you can't be, there is nothing you can't do, there is nothing you can't have. But never forget that what you will be, who you will be, and how you will be, is for you to decide because you are unique."

TRUST YOURSELF
THE REST WILL FOLLOW

As a child, I hated school. Until I was 16, I didn't know much. I wasn't good at anything. I didn't have a good attitude. Nothing interested me, nothing excited me. I was just standing still. On paper, I had no chance of making it, but I didn't really realize that. So I spent my days doing nothing, lying on my bed looking at the ceiling, listening to the radio.

THE RADIO
HOW GOOD IT WAS

I remember those voices, those laughs, those intonations, those stories, I was fascinated.

THE RADIO

I remember those voices, those laughs, those intonations, those stories, I was fascinated.

The radio was my refuge, my escape from the miserable life I was stuck in.
As soon as I turned on my mother's old transistor, time stopped as if suspended.
I had finally found my dream, my goal, my reason to live and to hope.
I felt it deep inside me, in my belly, in my head, it had become obvious.
I breathed, ate, slept with this desire, I didn't think about anything else, I didn't live for anything else!
The disadvantage, when you live in the suburbs, and you don't know anyone, and even less in this universe, the problem is...where to start?
One morning, at the bend of a street in Massy, I met by chance a great guy : Alpha Dialo.
Well, when I say by chance, I had been waiting for three hours for him to pass in this street. Alpha was in charge of a free radio in the neighborhood. That day, I remembered my grandmother's advice and I went to talk to him.

I KNOW WHO I AM

I told her, "I don't know anything about it, but I dream of doing radio. I didn't really go to school, but I know what I want, I know who I am, and I know I'm a radio host."

He listened to me surprised at first, then we started talking. He introduced me to this idea that it doesn't matter what the past was made of, maybe you didn't have a very happy childhood or maybe you did, maybe you didn't have a good upbringing, it doesn't matter as long as you have a goal and you want to give yourself the means to reach it.
After 10 minutes of conversation, he offered me a visit to the radio.

THAT DAY MY LIFE CHANGED

You know the rest. I know what you're thinking, I was very lucky, it's true.
But it wasn't luck that got up at 4 am for 20 years to go to the radio.

THAT'S ME !

It's not the luck that spent the best years of your life working night and day.

IT'S ME !

It's not luck that came to console me in my moments of doubt and dry my tears after each ordeal.

IT IS ME !

And yet, I bless that luck every day.

If luck, opportunity or the chance of life opens a door for you, don't hesitate to put your foot down so that it doesn't close or better yet, break it down! Because your chance will come, believe me. And on that day, when she's standing in front of you, be ready to say: I'm ready to follow my dreams, I'm ready to sacrifice everything to make them come true, I'm ready to work like crazy all my life if I have to, and I'll never give up.

I AM READY

And even if the mountain you will face is difficult to climb, believe me, when you reach the top, the view is breathtaking and sublime.
So if you want your life to go the way you want it to go, start imagining it now as you want it to be and take action.
And if you look in the mirror and don't like where you are, don't panic, it's just a step.

You don't like how you feel right now, dry your tears.

It's just a stage

Don't deviate, don't waste your time, don't get frustrated or bitter and trust yourself!
You can't judge your life by where you are right now, because where you are will change.

What worries you.

.. will change. What scares you will change!

BELIEVE ME

Very soon you will look back and not care about all those things that kept you awake. All you have to do to win this battle is to stay on the right path and choose the right mountain.

YOUR MOUNTAIN

And no matter what trail you leave behind, try to leave one with all the rage, heart, passion, faith, willpower you can muster.
So Alpha, if you're listening to me, thank you.

LA JOIE : Back to the future

Oh oui l’insouciance... Mais pas trop longtemps.
